Your first stop on your self-care journey is a one-on-one consultation with one of our expert providers. In some cases, we’ll be able to consult and treat on the same day! We’ll examine your skin, talk about your goals, and answer any questions you have about the process for platelet-rich plasma injections.
After your consultation, we’ll use all the information we gathered to craft a custom treatment plan just for you. Then, we’ll get started with the injection process, which takes about 30 to 60 minutes. Your injector will apply a topical numbing cream before placing your injections.
PRP injections stimulate your body’s natural healing response. So, while it starts working immediately, it may take some time for you to see your results. Some clients will start noticing improvements in just 1 to 3 days after their treatment. Your results can continue to improve over the next 3 to 6 months!

PRP injections involve using a concentration of platelets derived from your own blood. The platelets are the components in your blood that help with healing and tissue regeneration.
We extract the PRP from a small sample of your blood, process it to concentrate the platelets, and then inject it into the treatment area. This stimulates collagen production, which helps renew your skin.
In the under-eye area, PRP injections help to rejuvenate your skin by stimulating collagen production and improving blood flow. This can help reduce dark circles, diminish fine lines, and improve overall skin texture and firmness; leaving you looking more alert, less tired, and refreshed!
There’s not much you need to do to prepare for platelet-rich plasma injections in Highlands Ranch. Generally, we recommend avoiding fish oil, ibuprofen, alcohol, and caffeine for 24 to 48 hours before your appointment. We also recommend coming to your appointment with clean, makeup-free skin.
You can expect minimal to no downtime after your injections. It’s normal to experience some mild swelling or bruising, but these side effects typically resolve within a few days. Most people can resume their normal activities immediately after their appointment!
